Ministry of Commerce

Services: Trade name reservation, issuance of commercial registration and municipal licenses, and linking the registration to supporting entities such as social insurance and zakat.

General Authority of Zakat, Tax and Customs (ZATCA)

Responsible for regulating tax and customs affairs for companies in the Kingdom.

Services: Company registration for Value Added Tax (VAT), opening a tax file, and issuing zakat certificates.

Note: Registration is mandatory for companies immediately after the issuance of the commercial registration.

Services: Issuance and renewal of municipal licenses for administrative offices and branches. Note: A municipal license is a fundamental requirement for officially activating a company’s operations. Qiwa Platform Services: Employment contract documentation, visa issuance, and employee data management. Note 1: All companies are required to register on the platform to manage their employees and comply with regulations. Note 2: Activating the establishment’s annual subscription and linking it to the Ministry of Human Resources is required before using the services. Mudad Platform An electronic payroll management system and implementation of the Wage Protection Initiative.
